"Crizal blue cut lens" is a popular search, but it mixes two ideas. Once you see them apart, choosing is easy.
What Crizal is
Crizal is a brand of anti-reflective (AR) coatings. A coating is a thin layer on the lens. An AR coating:
- Cuts reflections and glare, so you see more light and fewer bright spots
- Helps lenses look clearer, even to people looking at you
- Is made to resist smudges and scratches
At EYVRO the Crizal lens is described as an ultimate anti-reflective, scratch-resistant and smudge-proof lens.
What blue cut is
Blue cut is a filter for part of the light that comes from screens. It is a different feature from anti-reflection. Some Crizal versions add a blue light filter, and some do not. That is why the question to ask is: "Does this lens have anti-reflection, a blue filter, or both?" Our guide on what blue light glasses can and cannot do is honest about the limits.
What each costs at EYVRO (per pair)
| Lens | Price | What it is |
| Hard Coat Lens | ₹250 | Clear lens with a scratch-resistant hard coat |
| Blue Cut Lens | ₹350 | Filters part of the light from screens |
| Magnus Lens | ₹600 | Premium clarity and impact resistance |
| Crizal Lens | ₹1,800 | Anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, smudge-proof |
These prices are for -6.00 / -2.00 to +2.00 / +2.00 (SPH / CYL). Stronger prescriptions need thinner lenses and are quoted per job. If you need progressive lenses, the Crizal Essential Progressive Blue Cut starts from ₹2,405, and we confirm the final amount before cutting. See the full lens price list.
