Yes. Pick a frame, choose your lens, and enter your add power at checkout, upload your prescription, type it in, or send it afterwards. The lenses are cut and fitted to your numbers at our Aligarh bench before the pair ships across India.
Yes. The frames here include men's, women's and unisex styles. Use the Gender filter to narrow the list, or open the men's or women's page when it is available.
Check the things you can see: the frame material and measurements on each product page, and the lens option you choose, plain, blue-light filtering or anti-reflective, each priced at checkout. The lenses are made to your prescription and fitted in-house at Deepak Optical, whose Google reviews are public.
For made-to-order reading lenses we need your add power, the ADD value on your prescription. If you do not have a prescription, an optometrist can give you one; we cannot determine your reading power for you.
A single-vision reading lens has one power throughout, for near work. A progressive lens transitions between distance, intermediate and near power in one lens, so you do not swap glasses. Progressives cost more and take some adjustment.
Reading glasses are ground for near distance, a book or phone held roughly 30–40cm away. A laptop or monitor sits further out, at what's called intermediate distance, which reading glasses aren't calibrated for. If most of your day is spent at a screen, office work or studying on a laptop, computer glasses are the better fit; for a phone or a printed page, reading glasses are the right choice.
At checkout you can upload a photo of your prescription, type the values in yourself (SPH, CYL, AXIS and PD for each eye), or place the order and send it to us afterwards. Copy the numbers exactly as they appear on the prescription your optometrist gave you, we fit the lenses to those values and do not change them.
Reading Glasses on this page range from ₹100 to ₹850, depending on the frame and any lens you add at checkout.
Shipping is a flat ₹100 across India. Orders are dispatched in 1-2 business days. Delivery usually takes 3-7 business days. Orders with prescription lenses take a little longer, because the lenses are cut and fitted before the frame ships.
